How to recover a Project Server 2007 project workspace when problems occur moving it

I’ve blogged a number of times in the past year or so regarding problems encountered when migrating from Project Server 2003 to 2007 and then from one 2007 instance to another. The biggest nightmare we had was when we tried to migrate from a Project Server 2007 instance to a brand new one. In this case we particularly have problems with the move of Project Web Access (PWA). Microsoft have just released a knowledge base article that discusses how to recover a Project Server 2007 project workspace when problems occur after you move a PWA site or you try to recover a server that is hosting a PWA site. The article can be found at http://support.microsoft.com/kb/963124/en-us

If only this have been published a year or so ago I would probably have more hair and less of it would be turning gray 🙂
